FOZZY Singer: New Album Will Blow People Away
May 10, 2004FOZZY frontman/WWE superstar Chris Jericho recently spoke to WWE.com about the recording process for the group's third album, "All That Remains", tentatively due this summer through an as-yet-undisclosed label (the group's last two offerings came out through Megaforce Records). According to Jericho, the last few weeks have been particularly hectic, with the singer flying from WWE's "RAW" directly to the Atlanta studio, putting in 13-hour days and getting little to no sleep. But Jericho said he finished all his vocals in a total of five days. He says that was possible because he's simply getting better as a singer and knows what he needs to do. He also credits the producer Rick Beato, "an up-and-coming big-time producer," who has worked with SANTANA among many others.
"It’s been a busy time," Jericho said. "You spend the time to get it right … But because Rick is so good, I was able to get everything done in five days."
Regarding the project in general, Jericho said, "It's been a real eye-opening experience about how to make and record a record."
“I can't wait for the record to come out," he said. "I think it's going to blow a lot of people away. People aren't going to believe how good this is. It's definitely the best thing we've ever done." [Read more]
